🎒 Work experience​

Lead Data Engineer @ Withings | 2019 - Present​

I currently work in the Machine Learning team, where I am responsible for the data pipeline, tools and systems that support the development and deployment of machine learning models. I also work on data visualization and have developed embedded algorithms.

Among my projects:

  • Implemented a data pipeline to collect data from patients using Raspberry Pis for internal campaigns.
  • Developed a production-used Medical Campaign Dataset Manager.
  • Created and maintained a wide variety of tools (API wrappers, logging helpers, data manipulation, ...) for the entire company.
  • Implemented and monitored the data pipeline for the BPM Core product.
  • Migrated the codebase of internal dashboards from custom JS to Python-based Streamlit.
  • Greatly improved the development workflow of the entire team (usage of GitLab, code-reviews, CI/CD, internal documentation, ...).
  • Developed a core internal library to automatically generate tailor-made CI/CD pipelines for each project and reduce time-to-deployment by several orders of magnitude.
  • Participated in the development of a simple repository to provide a self-hosted pip compatible Python package server.
  • Developed a filter in C for the BeamO stethoscope sounds.

Datascience Intern @ Dataiku | 2018​

  • Developed a plugin in Python on the Dataku platform to help customers preprocess text data and build vectorial representations of text using word embeddings.
  • Did research on word embeddings and knowledge graphs.

Software Engineer Intern @ Xbrain | 2017​

  • Created an ML-based newsletter processing 100K+ articles and social medial posts per day.
  • Analyzed the customer satisfaction through sentiment analysis.

Cofounder @ Ironcar | 2018 - 2019​

  • Cofounded Ironcar, an event centered aroung making mini RC cars autonomous.
  • Developed a repository to setup a first version to build upon for participants.
  • Developed a basic simulator to generate data to train the models.
